School's Out!

Pictured here is my joyous fourth period! We finished reading Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird the week before the last day of school. So, what could be better than a puppet show? Yes, their "final exam" was for each group to perform a segment of TKM as a puppet show. Their creative (sometimes scary) puppets were quite hilarious. You may have even noticed in the picture that there is a church, house, and...a Hummer. (The Hummer was used to bring the mob to the mob scene in front of Tom Robinson's jail cell. That particular group confused the word "mob" for "mobsters." Those puppets were clad in Phoenix Suns jerseys and gold chains...) Regardless of a few minor misunderstandings, the puppet shows were a hit and pretty entertaining! Although I'm looking forward to my summer off, I'm going to miss these silly children.
